Made to Order/Measure/Custom/Bespoke items, Accessories and Bags DO NOT qualify for a refund, store credit or an exchange unless under exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances include manufacturing defects upon receipt, items not arriving with the measurements specified at the time of order, or items not arriving as advertised.
In such a situation, Velvetry shall examine the same to see if indeed the said Made-to-Measure Product/ accessory suffers from any manufacturing defects, as aforesaid. The decision of Velvetry in this regard shall be final and binding on the customer.
Any shipping charges, duties and taxes charged will NOT be returned in case of a manufacturing defect.

Returns Policy – Defective Items
Velvetry shall in its sole discretion be permitted to determine if the Made-to-Measure Product and/ or accessory has manufacturing defects including incorrect color or size, or if the said product and/ or accessory has not arrived in the condition advertised.
Customers must contact Velvetry at info@velvetry.com within 48 hours of receiving the item and convey an intention to return the said item. Velvetry shall examine the same to see if indeed the said Made-to-Measure Product/ accessory suffers from any manufacturing defects, as aforesaid. The decision of Velvetry in this regard shall be final and binding on the customer.
In the event Velvetry does come to the conclusion that the Made-to-Measure Product/ accessory does indeed suffer from manufacturing defects, as alleged, then it shall intimate the customer about its findings and the Customer can thereafter either seek a full money refund for the same or choose to seek a store credit to buy any other product/ accessory on Velvetry’s website. Velvetry will provide the customer with a return label promptly, after which the customer has up to 3 days to courier the item to be returned, at Velvetry’s cost, to Velvetry’s designated address in U.S.A. In this situation, the full money will be refunded to him/ her by Velvetry within a period of 45 days from the date of the defected Product/ accessory reaching Velvetry’s designated address in U.S.A.
In a situation where Velvetry reaches a conclusion that the Made-to-Measure Product/ accessory does not suffer from the manufacturing defect, as has been alleged by the customer, the customer shall not be eligible for a full money refund.
How to request for returning an item?
Please specify the reason for your return and be as detailed as possible, especially in specifying any manufacturing defects. If there are manufacturing defects, we strongly recommend taking pictures and providing these to us. Our team will validate your return request before approval of the return. Velvetry shall examine the same to see if indeed the said Made-to-Measure Product/ accessory suffers from any manufacturing defects, as aforesaid. The decision of Velvetry in this regard shall be final and binding on the customer.

We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. In case of dispute, we also recommend you retain proof of sending. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of us receiving the item.
What condition should items be returned in?
Items that you return should not be used, washed, altered, tampered or soiled. All original packing, labels, tags, leaflets, manuals, warranty/guarantee cards, freebies, accessories such as belts, locks, straps, etc. should be intact. Items sold as sets/combos cannot be returned individually.
Items should be returned with all Velvetry and designer garment tags still attached to the item. Loose tags or broken tags will not be accepted for an exchange or credit note. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused.
Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags should be included with your return along with all invoices and paperwork. All items returned should have the return labels and tags attached to allow easy identification and prompt processing. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.

How long will it take me to receive the refund after I returned the order delivered in the USA?

DELIVERY & SHIPPING
What shipping options does Velvetry offer?
Velvetry offers two standard shipping options:
(1) Standard domestic United States shipping, available on all orders for $30. This rate is applicable for all orders below $200 in value.
Under this option, all products arrive at the customer's shipping address within one week of dispatch. Since most Velvetry.com items are bespoke and made by the designer upon order, it could take up to 3-4 weeks before the item is made available for dispatch. Items then arrive within 4-6 weeks from the order being placed at the shipping address provided.
(2) Free shipping for all orders of $200 or more
We offer free shipping for all orders above $200. Deliveries occur within 4-5 weeks of the order being placed.
Will all items in an order be delivered together?
When one order contains several items, Velvetry may deliver the items together or separately.
Do I need to sign for my order?
Due to the high value of the goods that we sell, we require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorize packages to be delivered without a signature.
How much will I be charged for shipping?
For all orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the order value. The amount charged is inclusive of all shipping costs, insurance, import duties and taxes.
Very rarely, certain products are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed are exclusive of all import taxes / duties. As the recipient, you are liable to pay all import duties, custom duty, local sales taxes and any other taxes levied by the country in which you are residing or you are importing the product to. Payment of these taxes/duties at the time of delivery is necessary to get the delivery of product from transport/courier agencies. Where applicable, this will be clearly noted on the product page.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your air waybill number to track your package. You can follow the progress of your items on the transport/courier agency’s website.
Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?
We are unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times
Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes or freight forwarding addresses?
We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or freight forwarding addresses due to courier restrictions.
Can I add items to an existing order?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order.
Is my package insured?
All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from our warehouse to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance. If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box. (Please keep the external packaging material for our courier partners to inspect.) Please email us at info@veletry.com immediately with a picture of the package.
I was not home when the courier person tried to deliver the order. How can I get my order now?
Velvetry.com uses standard and expedited shipping services as available from the delivery services we use. Delivery services typically make at least 2 attempts to deliver an item to your address. If you were not at home during the delivery attempt, the delivery service will either leave a “delivery attempt made” message at your delivery address or contact you via the contact information supplied at the time the order was placed. If you wish the order to be delivered at a preferred time or later, please coordinate with the delivery service.
If you fail to establish contact with the delivery service within reasonable time, your order(s) may be abandoned. Please note that we will not be able initiate any refund for the same.
